Sistars were a Polish band formed in 2001.

history

Their songs are a mix of hip hop and R&B . On September 15, 2003, the debut album Siła Sióstr (The Power of Sisters) was released. The debut single was called Spadaj (Get Out ). In 2004 Sistars took part in the Polish preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Freedom and finished in 7th place.

In 2004 and 2005 they each won an MTV Europe Music Award in the “Best Polish Act” category.

At the beginning of May 2006, Sistars' first single, Inspirations, was released in German-speaking countries .
