Natalia Maria Przybysz , also N'Talia and Natu (born September 1, 1983 in Warsaw ) is a Polish singer.

Live and act

As a child, Przybysz took cello lessons with her younger sister Paulina . In 2001 the sisters founded the soul band Sistars , with which they recorded two albums. Sistars won several Fryderyk Awards in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Polish Act in 2004 and 2005 . After the band broke up in 2006, Natalia Przybysz began her solo career; In 2008 their first, mostly English-language album Maupka Comes Home was released . On her 2013 album Kozmic Blues she interpreted songs by Janis Joplin . In 2014 she received two Fryderyk Awards for the album Prąd . In 2015, she and her sister founded the band Archeo Sisters, which has not yet recorded an album. Together with guitarist Raphael Rogiński she forms Shy Albatross , the first album of which was released in 2016 - Woman Blue . Before that, she appeared on two albums of Rogiński's projects.

Przybysz worked with Baaba , Warsaw Village Band , Wojtek Mazolewski , Tymon Tymański , Stanisław Sojka , among others . With Sistars and on earlier solo albums, she combined soul , pop and electronic music . She later turned to rock music and blues .

In 2016, Przybysz admitted in several interviews that she had already had an abortion (after having had two children). This statement was published at a time when there was a public debate in Poland about the law on abortion. She was also involved in social campaigns, including against malaria , breast cancer and AIDS, as well as for vegetarianism (she is vegan ) and nature conservation.
