Suspension (contract law)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The suspension is the "standstill in the order or project processing that is formally requested by the client, in which it initially remains open whether the order or the project will be continued" ( DIN 69901 ). The right to suspension and the processes triggered by it (billing, contractual penalties , etc.) should be regulated in detail in the contract. A project / order is usually suspended if the agreed services cannot be fulfilled (e.g. payment of an installment). The suspension is not a project termination . After the suspension, the project / order can be continued or canceled.
