Siva Samoa

Siva Samoa is a Samoan dance. The dance was traditionally performed by the high chiefs, the Matai . Today it is usually danced by the Taupou . The Mak Sa'moa, which is particularly popular in Western Samoa, is similar .

Other traditional forms are Taualuga , Siva Afi , Sasa , Māuluulu , Laumei and Tautasi .

The Siva Samoa is very popular at Lūʻau celebrations in the Hawaiian Islands. There is also the version of the Siva Afi with burning knives.
