Sizzler is an American restaurant chain.
history
The chain was founded by Del and Helen Johnson on January 27, 1958 as Del Sizzler's Family Steak House in Culver City, California. The company has more than 270 locations in the United States. Sizzler is also represented internationally. In addition to the USA, Sizzler also has restaurants in Australia, Taiwan, Japan, China and Thailand. In 2005, Sizzler was bought by a private equity firm called Collins Foods Group and has been owned by the company ever since.
