The Skårupøre Sund is a tributary of the Great Beltes located between the Danish islands of Fyn ( German Funen ) and Thurø from Belt from west to Svendborgsund extends.

Near its western end, Skårupøre Sound has been spanned by a bridge since February 1, 1934, which connects Svendborg with Thurø. Before that there was a ferry connection with the electric ferry Thurø near this point .
