Game Boy
There are 7 levels in which the player can get to his girlfriend.
- Level 1 on the sidewalk, finale with the clown king, view from the side
- Level 2 on the beach, no final part with king, view from above
- Level 3 in the sewer system, final part with fish king, view from the side
- Level 4 in a dry canal, no final part with king, view from above
- Level 5 on the street, no final part with king, view from above
- Level 6 in the underground world, final part with king, view from the side
- Level 7 on skate ramp, final part with king on fire drone, view from the side

In up to five disciplines, the player can compete against three computer opponents alone or against up to seven human players. Before the start of the game, it must be determined in the skate shop which game mode is desired. All players can enter their names with the keyboard and then select the color of the board.
Similar to Summer Games , the player can decide whether he wants to play or practice on all or only individual disciplines.
The player can choose between five disciplines:
- Freestyle
- High jump
- Race
- Jam
- Pool Joust
In the downhill disciplines (jam and race) the player can choose between regular or goofy foot controls, with the control axes being swapped.
In 1990 the successor Ski or Die appeared , with which Electronic Arts did not quite contribute to the success of Skate or Die! could tie in.
