The SKIF Festival ( Sergei Kurjochin International Festival) takes place in Saint Petersburg and presents Russian and international folk, ethno, jazz, avant-garde, electronic and rock music.

After the death of the internationally known composer Sergei Kurjochin in 1996, the festivals SKIF-1 and SKIF-2 were held for the first time, initially in New York . It has been held in the artist's hometown since 1998.

The SKIF Festival brings artists to Saint Petersburg who were otherwise withheld from the Russian audience in the largely commercialized music industry in Russia.
