Nauders ski area

The Nauders ski area is located south of Nauders in Tyrol and includes Bergkastelspitze , Tscheyeck and Gueserkopf.

There are 12 mountain railways in the Nauders ski area: The ski area extends from 1,400 to 2,750 m.

The Nauders ski area has been a member of the Zwei Länder Skiarena since the 2017/18 winter season . The Zwei Länder Skiarena is the largest map network between North and South Tyrol (Nauders, Schöneben, Haideralm, Watles, Trafoi and Sulden am Ortler). 52 lifts and 211 km of winter fun.

  • The Bergkastel cable car leads from its valley station at around 1,400 meters to Bergkastel at 2,200 meters. It is a 6-seater gondola lift based on the circulating principle.
  • The valley lift is a pommel lift, it is located in the immediate vicinity of the Bergkastel cable car.
  • The panorama lift is the highest lift in the ski area. It leads to the Gueser Kopf ( 2740  m ).
  • The chairlifts Zirmbahn ( 2650  m ), Tscheyeckbahn ( 2666  m ), Gaislochbahn ( 2300  m ), Lärchenhang 1 ( 1700  m ) and 2 ( 2280  m )
  • The smaller drag lifts Almlift ( 2600  m ), Goldseelift ( 2295  m ), Ganderbildlift ( 2295  m ) and Ideallift ( 2170  m )

The managed inns and alpine pastures, for example the Piengalm (summer operation) at 1990 meters, the Goldseehütte at 1857 meters, the Lärchenalm at 1700 m and the Stieralm (from 2015/2016) at 2054 m are accessible via the ski slopes in winter or hiking trails in summer to reach the Nauderer Höhenweg. The Nauderer Hütte is also located above the Goldseehütte to the south .

Slopes and trails

The ski area comprises 30 slopes with a total length of 75 km. There is a mogul slope for skiers near the Tscheyeckbahn. Tobogganists get their money's worth on 2 toboggan runs. The Bergkastel toboggan run starts at the mountain station of the Bergkastel cable car and, at 8 km, is the longest toboggan run in Tyrol. The Lärchenalm toboggan run begins at the Lärchenhang 1 mountain station, which is opposite the Lärchenalm and is 4.5 km long. Both toboggan runs use a common slope on the lower part and end at the valley station of the Bergkastelbahn. There is a half-pipe for snowboarders near the Bergkastel restaurant. The Nauderixland is located at the mountain station of the Bergkastelbahn. The youngest skiers are looked after by the Nauders Ski School. The Nauders and Nauders 3000 ski schools have their meeting points at the Bergkastelbahn mountain station. Cross-country trails are located at 1440–1900 meters.
