from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The sculptures against war and violence are located in the Berlin government district, opposite the Reichstag , for example at the location of the former Kroll Opera , between Grosse Querallee and Heinrich-von-Gagern-Strasse. The works were created as part of the symposium of European sculptors 1961–1963 and represent a reaction to the construction of the Berlin Wall on August 13, 1961.
