history

Sky Angel was one of the first networks to switch their distribution to Internet streaming. Forbes wrote in 2012 about the novelty at the time, Sky Angel could trigger a new competition between the providers because previously only conventional cable and satellite providers were in competition. The company ran into problems with program suppliers like Discovery . This temporarily blocked access for Sky Angel customers to his most popular channels such as Animal Planet and Military Channel because he saw a breach of contract in the Internet transmission.
