Slender Rising is an iOS game developed by Michael Hegemann. It was released on November 12, 2012 and runs on all Apple iOS devices from the iPhone 3GS upwards. The game has been continually updated since its release and a free version was released on January 5th, 2013.

Game concept

Slender Rising is designed as a single player game. The app supports two game modes. In both modes, the player is attacked by the Slender Man . In one mode the player has to collect seven characters before Slender Man grabs him. The other mode is about collecting as many pages as possible.

Level

There are four levels in Slender Rising:

  • Desolate Town
  • Lost Ward
  • Cursed Ruins
  • Haunted Forest

The characters are randomly scattered in the levels. The player finds the sides by marking the position with a red arrow. As soon as a player hears demonic whispers, it signals proximity to the signs.

There are also four scenarios:

  • Day
  • Night
  • Night vision
  • Thunderstorm
