Slots and Kulturstyrelsen

Slots- og Kulturstyrelsen (German Castle and Culture Authority) is an authority of the Danish Ministry of Culture , which was created on January 1, 2016 through the merger of the culture authority Kulturstyrelsen with the Styrelsen for Slotte & Kulturejendomme (authority for castles and cultural assets). She is responsible for the protection, operation and maintenance of the country's castles, gardens and cultural assets and advises the Ministry of Culture on the conception and implementation of the government's cultural goals. In addition, it awards funds to cultural facilities and institutions.
