Slush (event)

Slush is a not-for-profit startup and tech event in Helsinki . It was founded in 2008 by Peter Vesterbacka (then employed by Rovio for Angry Birds ) and Timo Airisto. Slush is now considered Europe's leading tech conference. In 2017, 20,000 visitors attended the event. Slush is now taking place in Finland, Japan, China and Singapore.

In 2017, Al Gore was one of the speakers at the conference.
