Snobs is a 2003 Australian television series from the Southern Star Group . The series is set in Eden Beach , a suburb on Sydney's northern beaches. It tells of the friendship between Abby, a girl from a wealthy middle class family, and Marian, a boy from a group of country drivers . Soon there is a dispute between the residents of Eden Beach and the group of land drivers who are referred to by the others as "Ferals". The title of the series is also the name of Marian's dog.
