The Hohenberger Straße (B 214) is a country road in Austria . It leads over a length of 13.5 km through the Gutenstein Alps along the Unrechttraisen . She is accompanied by the Leobersdorfer Bahn . The street is named after the Hohenberg community that lies on it.

The road leads from Mariazeller Straße  (B20, St. Pölten - Kapfenberg) in Freiland an der Traisen (municipality of Türnitz ) via Hohenberg to Gutensteiner Straße  (B21, Wr.Neustadt - Mariazell to B20) in Mitterbach (municipality of St. Aegyd am Neuwalde ).

history

The core Hoferstraße field - Kernhof between the open and the Lahnsattel street belongs since 1 January 1950 for the network of federal roads in Austria . After the extension of the B21 Gutensteiner Straße to Mariazell in Styria, which included the St. Aegyder section from Mitterbach via the main town to Kernhof , the remaining section of the Kernhofer Straße was renamed Hohenberger Straße .

 B214  Like the other former federal highways, Hohenberger Strasse was part of the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002, it has been under state administration and continues to have the B in the number, but not the name Bundesstraße.
