The Eferdinger road B 129 is a main road in Austria . It starts in Linz-Urfahr at Hinsenkampplatz at the intersection of Rudolfstrasse B 127 / Hauptstrasse B 129 and ends in Taufkirchen an der Pram at the intersection with Innviertler Strasse B 137.

course

It runs over a length of 71.8 km from the Traunviertel through the Hausruckviertel to the Innviertel and thus crosses Upper Austria almost completely from east to west. Eferdinger Strasse starts in the state capital Linz and leads over the Nibelungen Bridge, first along the Danube via Wilhering and Alkoven, then on the new bypass southwest past the town of Eferding , which gave the street its name. From here the road reaches the Innviertel via Waizenkirchen and Peuerbach , before it changes direction to the northwest and ends at Taufkirchen an der Pram - south of Schärding - at Innviertler Straße B 137.

It passes the Kürnberger Wald near Linz to the north, along the Danube, then crosses the Eferdinger basin and the north of the Innviertel hill country , where it follows the southern roof of the Sauwald , and ends in the lower Inn Valley . It thus forms a link between the West Autobahn  A 1 / Mühlkreis Autobahn  A 7 near Linz and Innkreis Autobahn  A 8 at the Suben border crossing , but is only of importance for regional traffic.

expansion

In the course of the Eferding bypass, the section of the B 129, opened on November 30, 2014, leads south of Eferding to the west, crosses under the L 531 Schartener Straße, the Linzer Lokalbahn, the Wallerner Straße B 134 and the ÖBB line Wels – Haiding – Aschach as well again the "LILO". The road then swings north and joins the existing route south of Hinzenbach at.
