The lead Straße (B 81) is a country road in Austria . With a length of 33.9 km it leads from Sittersdorf above the Jauntal to Bleiburg and from there down into the Drautal to Lavamünd on the state border to Slovenia .

The Eberndorf-Lavamünder street belongs since 1 January 1950 for the network of federal roads in Austria .

Bleiburger Strasse began in Sittersdorf on October 1, 1972, and the previous section between Eberndorf and Loibegg was split into a state road.

B81	Like the other former federal highways, Bleiburger Strasse was part of the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002, it has been under state administration and continues to have the B in the number, but not the name Bundesstraße.
