history

The section between Rankweil and Satteins was declared a rival road by the state law of July 11, 1875 . In Austrian legal language, competition refers to the joint financing of a project by various institutions, each of which assumes a percentage of the maintenance costs specified by law. In this case it took over

the construction and maintenance costs incurred in the following years.

From 1908 the Austrian Ministry of Public Works granted an annual grant of 8,750 crowns for the construction of a road from Sonntag to Fontanella.

The Faschina road belonged from 1 September 1971 to the transfer to the regional road network on 1 April 2002 to the network of federal roads in Austria .
