The Altmannsdorferstraße B224 is a main road B in Vienna , national road B in Lower Austria and former federal highway . It includes the local streets Grünbergstrasse and Altmannsdorfer Strasse. In connection with the B1, the B224 as part of the so-called Viennese west entrance or west exit creates an important connection from the A23 to the west motorway (A1).
It begins in Vösendorf at the intersection with Triester Straße ( under road construction law: Wiener Neustädter Straße , B17) and follows the course of Altmannsdorfer Straße in a north-west direction through the 23rd Viennese district of Liesing . After about 2.5 kilometers you will reach the end of the Südosttangente (A23) where the so-called Altmannsdorfer Ast joins Altmannsdorfer Straße. After crossing Brunner Strasse (B12), the Südbahn and the connecting line , it joins Grünbergstrasse . It then leads over the Green Mountain , east of the Schönbrunn Palace Park , and ends at the intersection with Wiener Straße (B1).
In the north, an extension to the Gürtel (B221) is planned.

Individual evidence
B224 | The Altmannsdorfer Straße was like the other former federal highways in the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002, it has been under state administration and continues to have the B in the number, but not the name Bundesstraße. |
