history

The Puchberg Strasse from Oed via Puchberg to Neunkirchen is one of the roads in Lower Austria that were declared federal roads by the federal law of June 2, 1954. In the federal budget of 1954, 15,000,000 schillings were made available for the expansion of these roads.

The Wiener Neustadt-Grünbacher road , which was built in 1845, belongs since 1 April 1959, the network of federal roads in Austria .

The part of Puchberg Strasse from Oed to Puchberg was abandoned as a federal road on January 1, 1971, the remaining part was combined with Wiener Neustadt-Grünbacher Strasse to form the new Puchberger Strasse.
