history

The Kleinwalsertal street belonged since 1 January 1951 to the network of federal roads in Austria . It was set between the B 200 “ Bregenzerwaldstrasse ” in Hochkrumbach and the state border at Walserschanz. At the end of the 1960s there were several plans to connect the Kleinwalsertal with the Hochtannberg area through a tunnel; the section between Hochkrumbach and Baad was never developed as a road. On April 1, 2002 it was taken over into the administration of the state of Vorarlberg together with all other federal highways and has been a Vorarlberg state road ever since.

The Kleinwalsertalstraße was like the other former federal highways in the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002 it has been under state administration. In the other federal states, the conventional street name is continued with B - in Vorarlberg, however, the streets taken over by the federal government have an L in the name like all other Vorarlberg regional streets .
