The Traismaurer road B 43 is a main road in Austria . It runs over a length of 20.2 km through the Tullnerfeld in Lower Austria and connects Wiener Straße B 1 with the town of Traismauer . The road begins in Atzenbrugg on the Perschling and runs parallel to the Tullnerfelder Bahn .

history

The Tulln-Mauterner street belonged from 1 April 1959 to 1971 the network of federal roads in Austria . It led from Tulln along the southern bank of the Danube via Zwentendorf and Traismauer to Mautern , where it merged into St. Pölten – Kremser Straße.

Since January 1st, 1972, the Traismaurer Straße has been shortened to the line between Atzenbrugg and Traismauer. The previous route of the Tulln – Mauterner Straße via Zwentendorf was graduated to a state road.

 B43  Like the other former federal highways, Traismaurer Strasse was part of the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002, it has been under state administration and continues to have the B in the number, but not the name Bundesstraße.
