history

The Salzburg-Oberdorfer road is one of the 20 roads that are expressly described in Salzburgerstraße law of 14 January 1873 as state roads. In Upper Austria, the subsequent 29.7 km section between Braunau and Moosdorf was known as Braunau-Laufener Bezirksstraße until 1932 and was named Moosdorfer Straße in 1932 .

After the annexation of Austria , the Upper Austrian road network was reorganized according to the German model. The road between Braunau and Moosdorf was declared a 1st order state road on April 1, 1940 and designated LIO 1.

The Lamprechtshausener street belongs since 1 January 1949 to the network of federal roads in Austria .

The current B 156a on the southern outskirts of Oberndorf

Until the opening of the Oberndorf bypass near Salzburg in December 1994, Lamprechtshausener Strasse ran through the built-up area of Oberndorf. Since then, the 2.2 km long road runs from the junction of the B 156 through the southern urban area of Oberndorf to the state border with Germany on the middle of the Salzach bridge Laufen-Oberndorf under the name B 156 a and has the inner city name Salzburger Straße and on the last few meters on Brückenstraße .
