history

By a resolution of the Styrian state parliament on July 11, 1901, the road from Mürzzuschlag via Niederalpl to Wegscheid was upgraded to a district road, 1st class. Since April 1, 1938 - like all former district roads of the first order in Styria - it was run as a country road .

The northern section of the route from Terz over the Lahnsattel to the state border near Frein was declared a first-order highway on October 17, 1940 by Fritz Todt , General Inspector for German Roads.

The Lahnsattel street belonged since 1 January 1950 for the network of federal roads in Austria , today it is again a country road.
