Wildbichler Strasse has been part of the network of federal highways in Austria since January 1st, 1951 .

In 1990 a pillar of the Wildbichler Bridge sagged over the Inn in Kufstein (in the background), which meant that the Inntal Autobahn , the B 175 and the Westbahn had to be closed for a long time and traffic was diverted through the Kufstein city center.

B175	Like the other former federal highways, Wildbichler Strasse was part of the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002, it has been under state administration and continues to have the B in the number, but not the name Bundesstraße.
