Niederndorferberg is a municipality with 721 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in the Kufstein district in Tyrol ( Austria ). The community is located in the judicial district of Kufstein .

location

Niederndorferberg is a hillside settlement above the Lower Inn Valley and on the border with Bavaria . The settlement area extends over several scattered settlements, some of which have condensed into hamlets between the Inntal and Wildbichler Strasse B 175, which leads to Sachrang in Bavaria.

politics

After the resignation of Mayor Wolfgang Baumgartner, Elisabeth Daxauer was elected as the first woman to be the new mayor of Niederndorferberg on February 24, 2012 with 231 to 191 votes.

economy

In the hamlet of Wildbichl there is a wildlife park with animals from the Alpine region and an educational plant trail.

The Hatzenstädt Dairy is well known and has won prizes in several cheese making competitions. The transport of milk from the farms on the Niederndorferberg to the dairy is technically interesting. It takes place via a star-shaped network of material ropeways . There is a transfer station for this above Hatzenstädt.

The community is a member of the Kufsteinerland Tourism Association .
