The Pulkautal road (B 45) is a country road B in Austria . It has a length of 60.3 km and leads mostly along the eponymous Pulkau . The road begins in Horn and first leads to Pulkau . Here she meets her namesake and follows him through the northern Weinviertel to its confluence with the Thaya near Laa an der Thaya .

history

After the annexation of Austria , this road was converted into a 1st order country road on April 1, 1940 as part of the standardization of the road system and led as part of LIO 1. On March 23, 1942, the section between Horn and Pulkau was declared part of Reichsstraße 343 by a decree issued by the General Inspector for German Roads .

The Pulkautal street belongs since 1 April 1959, the network of federal roads in Austria .

 B45  Like the other former federal highways, Pulkautal Straße was part of the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002, it has been under state administration and continues to have the B in the number, but not the name Bundesstraße.
