The Kamptal road (B 34) is a country road in Austria . It runs over a length of 45.7 km over the Wagram , through the Kamptal and Taffatal in the Waldviertel . The road begins on the Stockerauer Schnellstraße (S 5) and initially runs along the southern edge of the Wagram before it reaches the Kamptal in Hadersdorf-Kammern . It follows this, accompanied by the Kamptalbahn , to Rosenburg , branches off there into the Taffatal and joins the Horner Straße (B4) at Horn .

history

The Kamptal Straße between Horn and Krems has been part of the network of federal highways in Austria since January 1, 1949 . By the federal law of June 2, 1954, the route was changed so that the Kamptal Straße no longer ended in Krems, but in Hadersdorf am Kamp. Since January 1, 1972, Kamptal Straße in Kollersdorf has ended on the B 3.

 B34  Like the other former federal highways, Kamptal Straße was part of the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002, it has been under state administration and continues to have the B in the number, but not the name Bundesstraße.
