The Wienerbergstraße B225 is a main road B and former federal road in Vienna . It connects the districts Meidling , favorites and Simmering and provides an important east-west axis represents traffic in Vienna. In addition, it binds the districts Meidling Simmering and to the connection point favorites of Southeast tangent (A23) on.

Important business parks such as the Euro Plaza and the Vienna Twin Tower are located along Wienerbergstrasse .

history

The Wienerbergstraße belonged from 1 September 1971 for the network of federal roads in Austria . In 2002 it was transferred to the state administration.

With the completion of the planned A23 junction Simmering (known as the "blocked Simmering exit"), the B225 is to be relocated from this to the central cemetery on a new route south of the Ostbahn .
