The Manker Straße (B 29) is a 41.3 km long national highway in Lower Austria . It leads from Ober-Grafendorf via Kilb , Mank and Oberndorf an der Melk to Scheibbs and joins the Erlauftal Straße B 25.

history

The Manker Straße originally led from Spratzern via Mank, Sankt Leonhard am Forst to Matzleinsdorf on the B 1 and has been part of the network of federal highways in Austria since April 1, 1959 . Since January 1, 1972, Manker Straße has led to Scheibbs, while the former western section was henceforth known as the B 215.

 B29  Like the other former federal highways, Manker Strasse was part of the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002, it has been under state administration and continues to have the B in the number, but not the name Bundesstraße.
