The Rieder Straße (B 141) is a country road in Austria . It runs through the Innviertel for a length of 46.5 km . Beginning near Grieskirchen , near Hofkirchen an der Trattnach as a junction of Innviertler Straße  (B 137), the road initially leads over the Innkreis Autobahn (A 8) to Ried im Innkreis . The road then continues to Altheim am Inn , with a connection to Altheimer Strasse  (B 148).

Between Ried and Altheim, Rieder Straße is run as European route 552 , which today uses the A8 from Ried eastwards.

The B 141a is the Ried near Walchshausen motorway slip road (Tumeltsham municipality), and then continues as the Unterinnviertler Straße  L 513 via Andrichsfurt to Riedau (B 137).

history

The Braunauer Straße between Braunau, Ried im Innkreis and Lambach was one of the federal highways established by the federal law of July 8, 1921. Until 1938 this federal road was designated as B 46, after the connection with Austria it was run as Reichsstraße  340 .

The Innviertler Strasse from Braunau via Ried to Wels replaced Braunauer Strasse on July 1, 1964. According to the Federal Roads Act of 1971, the Innviertler Schnellstrasse S 9 was to replace the Innviertler Strasse between Ried and Braunau. However, this expressway was not built, so on March 1, 1992 a new federal highway B 141 was established between Altheim and Stritzing, which was called Rieder Straße .

Individual evidence

  1. Federal Highway Law Amendment 1992. BGBl. 420/1992.
B141  Like the other former federal highways, Rieder Straße was part of the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002, it has been under state administration and continues to have the B in the number, but not the name Bundesstraße.
