The Prager Straße (B 125) is a country road in Austria . It has a length of 48.5 km and runs from the Upper Austrian capital Linz parallel to the Mühlkreis Autobahn (A 7) and the Mühlviertel expressway (S 10) , to the end of them at Freistadt . In 1999, the section from Unterweitersdorf belonging to Prager Strasse to the state border with the Czech Republic was shortened and renamed Mühlviertler Strasse (B 310) , as the Mühlviertler Schnellstrasse (S 10) was to be built in this area as an extension of the Mühlkreis Autobahn (the construction of the Section south to Freistadt began in 2009, the traffic opening took place in 2015).

When the S 10 to Freistadt was opened to traffic, the almost parallel state road was renamed to the original name "B 125".

The Prager Reichsstraße connected the Upper Austrian capital Linz with the Bohemian metropolis Prague and was developed into an art street as early as the 18th century. The section between Gallneukirchen and Freistadt was completed in 1753.

The Prager Straße is one of the imperial roads that have been adopted by the Federal Law of July 8, 1921 as national roads. Until 1938, Prager Strasse was designated as the B 52; after the connection with Austria , Prager Strasse was part of Reichsstrasse 95 until 1945 .

This Prager Strasse is not to be confused with streets of the same name in places such as:

• Prager Straße in Linz- Urfahr near the A7 ,
• the Prager Strasse (Vienna) in the 21st district, Floridsdorf , part of the B 3 (Donaustraße)

B125	Like the other former federal highways, Prager Strasse (Upper Austria) was part of the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002, it has been under state administration and continues to have the B in the number, but not the name Bundesstraße.
