The Mieminger road ( B 189 ) is a country road in Austria . It leads over a length of 35.4 km from Telfs over the Mieminger Plateau and the Holzleitensattel ( 1119 m above sea level ) to Nassereith , where there is a connection to the Fernpassstraße (B 179), and on via Tarrenz through the Gurgltal to Imst .
In Telfs and Imst and on the road Mötzer L 236 port is for Inntalautobahn .
history
The Imst-Nassereither Straße from Imst to Nassereith was one of the federal highways established by the federal law of July 8, 1921. Until 1938 Imst-Nassereither Straße was designated as B 72, after the connection with Austria , Imst-Nassereither Straße was part of Reichsstraße 24 until 1945 . Today it forms the western part of Mieminger Strasse.
The Reuttener road that led from Telfs via Reutte to the state border with feet, was one of the main roads, which were also set up by the Federal Law of July 8, 1921st Until 1938 Reuttener Straße was designated as B 68, after the connection with Austria , Reuttener Straße was part of Reichsstraße 309 until 1945 . Today the eastern part of Mieminger Strasse and Fernpassstrasse correspond to it.
B189 | Like the other former federal highways, Mieminger Strasse was part of the federal administration. Since April 1, 2002, it has been under state administration and continues to have the B in the number, but not the name Bundesstraße. |
