Alberndorf im Pulkautal is a municipality with 745 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in the Hollabrunn district in Lower Austria .
geography
Alberndorf im Pulkautal is located in the Weinviertel in Lower Austria. The area of the municipality covers 9.88 km², 5.6% of the area is forested.
Community structure
There is only the cadastral municipality of Alberndorf in the Pulkautal. The settlements Am See and Europäischeiedlung also belong to the village .
The community is part of the Small Region Initiative Pulkautal .

history
Here there was a Paleolithic hunting station from the Aurignacian period .
In the course of the Babenberg securing of the border in the Pulkautal after 1050, a follower Adalbero settled in the form of an "old hoof". Seven half-lives were probably resettled to this farm around or after 1200. Only after the farm became peasant through division around 1400 did viticulture become an important source of income. In 1468 there were 15 hostel houses, in 1590 there were already 51 houses in the whole town.

In 2010 there were 52 agricultural and forestry holdings (104 in 1999). 16 of them were full-time farms, they cultivated 69 percent of the area. In the production sector, 25 workers are employed in two factories in the manufacture of goods. The service sector employs 57 people in 21 companies. These are mainly employed in trade and in social and public services (as of 2011).
