The Société Boisavia was a French aircraft manufacturer founded by Lucien Tieles in 1946 . In the same year the development of the B-50 Muscadet began . Claude Piel joined the company in 1948 and began his career in aircraft construction. In 1952, however, he left the Société Boisavia again. The company produced a number of light and sport aircraft, the most successful of which was the B.60 Mercurey , production of which ended in 1962.
