The Sociedad Española de Ornitología (SEO) is the Spanish association for the protection of birds and nature. SEO was founded in 1954 and has around 8,000 members. The head office of the organization is in Madrid , where some of the 50 full-time employees also work. SEO is the Spanish partner of BirdLife International .
