Sogblettir ( Icelandic Knutschflecke ) was an Icelandic punk band that existed from 1986 to 1988. The band was formed by friends Arnar Sævarsson ( Björk's half-brother), Ari Eldon and Gunnar Sæmundsson. In their first formation with singer Jón Júlíus Filippusson, the band played quite aggressive hardcore punk and released a self-titled EP. After Jón Július left, the band's sound also changed. With the new singer Grétar, they created a much darker image. The previously punk-oriented sound was now stylistically closer to Bauhaus and other Gothic-Rock representatives. After only one album, Fyrsti kossinn , the band broke up.
