Soheir Garranah

Soheir Garranah ( Arabic زهير جرانة, DMG Zuhair Ǧarrāna ) is an Egyptian politician .

He was his country's tourism minister in the Nazif cabinet until the 2011 revolution in Egypt , in the course of which he was fired .

On February 4, 2011, the public prosecutor began an investigation against him. On May 10, a Cairo court sentenced him to five years in prison. Garranah sold valuable state-owned properties, including oil wells, to influential businessmen, according to the ruling.
