The Soko J-20 Kraguj (serb. Соко / soko dt. "Falcon" - крагуј / kraguj dt. " Sparrowhawk ") is a single-seat light ground attack and COIN aircraft made by the Yugoslav manufacturer Soko .

construction

The "Kraguj" is a metal construction in the classic half-shell construction with slightly trapezoidal wings. The single-seat aircraft has a closed cockpit with a hood that opens to the rear and is equipped with a non-retractable tail wheel landing gear that also allows take-offs from unprepared runways. Ski runners can also be fitted in winter.

The aircraft is powered by a 254 kW (340 PS) piston engine Lycoming GSO-480-B1J6 . The aircraft was specially designed for operations against ground targets and designed for easy maintenance and weapon loading.
