Solar de Burgues
Solar de Burgues is a building in the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo .
The building, erected in the mid-19th century as a home by Félix Buxareo , is located in Ciudad Vieja on Calle Ituzaingó 1522 between Piedras and Cerrito streets . Information about the architect of the building is not available. The twelve-meter-high, two-storey building has a floor area of 657 m² and houses residential apartments. In 1989 restoration work took place under the direction of the architects J. Villar Marcos and S. Pascale .
Since 1986 the building has been classified as the Monumento Histórico Nacional .
