The Wandau military cemetery is located in the Wandau north of Hieflau in the municipality of Landl in the Liezen district in Styria .

history

In the last days of the Second World War in 1945 there was a Wehrmacht interception staff near Hieflau . In a forest near the Wandau chapel , dispersed soldiers were sentenced to death by a court martial and shot. In 1966 a memorial was erected on the site.
