The Solidarity Youth of Germany in the RKB (short: Solijugend or Soli ) was founded in 1954 as an independent youth organization within the RKB "Solidarität" Deutschland 1896 e. V. It is mainly active in the fields of youth sports, youth culture, youth education, youth policy and international youth work, with international youth work being the mainstay of the association.

With around 30,000 members throughout Germany (self-reported for 2006), Solidarity Youth is a small youth association.

The Solidarity Youth is based in Offenbach am Main . The federal office and the youth education center of the association are located here. The association also has a representation in the capital in Berlin.

The Solidarity Youth is a member of the German Federal Youth Council as well as the information and documentation center for anti-racism work .
