Summer (unit)
Summer was a Spanish measure of volume for liquids. In the case of the arroba , which was eight times its size, a distinction was made between menor and major with a volume range of about 12 to 16 liters
- 1 summer = 4 quartile = 1.875 liters
- 8 summer = 1 arroba = around 15 liters (mean)
