Somogyi String Quartet

The Somogyi String Quartet is a string quartet that was founded in the summer of 1997 by former students from the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest .

Act

After its premiere in November 1997 in the Bartók Memorial House, the quartet took part in several international festivals such as B. Ravinia Festival in Chicago , Viva Vivaldi Festival and Festival Cultural de Mayo in Mexico DF, Quartet Festival in Radom , Poland , Mini Festival in Budapest, Hugo Wolf Days in St. Paul in Lavanttal , Austria . The ensemble has also given numerous concerts in Hungary and Europe. There are sound recordings from the Hungarian radio and from Hungaroton .
