Somphu
Somphu (full throne name Somdet Brhat-Anya Chao Jumbuya Raja Sri Sadhana Kanayudha ; * 1486 in Sawa ; † 1501 ibid) was king of Lan Chang between 1495 and 1500 after the death of his father .
Life
Somphu was the only son of King Suvanna Ban Lang and was raised privately in the palace. After the death of his father, he led his empire under the reign of his uncle Prince Laksana Vijaya Kumara (Luche Phe Sai) and had been sovereign since 1497. In 1500 he was removed from office and died in Sawa in 1501. He was succeeded by Visunharat Thipath (ruled 1500–1520).
