Special Committee on the Financial, Economic and Social Crisis

The Special Committee on the Financial, Economic and Social Crisis (CRIS) was a special committee of the European Parliament that met from October 2009 to June 2011.

Its task was to "analyze and evaluate the extent of the economic, financial and social crisis, its impact [...] on the European Union and its Member States and the state of global governance, and propose appropriate measures to restore intact and sustainable financial markets in the long term ".
