Sony Crackle (until January 14, 2018 simply Crackle ) is a streaming media platform of the Sony Pictures Entertainment company , which is mainly active in the USA as well as in a few other countries.
history
The platform was founded in 2004 under the name Grouper and was acquired by Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2007. In 2014, Crackle was shut down in the United Kingdom and Australia , where the platform had previously been available for a few years.
