Snatch is a British - American television series that has been shown on the streaming platform Crackle since March 16, 2017 . It is loosely based on the film of the same name, Snatch - Pigs and Diamonds by Guy Ritchie . The series has been extended for a second season. In German-speaking countries, the series was shown for the first time since May 23, 2017 on the channel AXN .

The series follows a group of young crooks who find themselves with a truck full of stolen gold bars and soon find themselves embroiled in the world of organized crime.

The Snatch series received mostly negative reviews. At Rotten Tomatoes , she got a 33% rating. According to the Serienjunkies.de editor Bjarne Bock, it could be booked as an "unnecessary film adaptation". Bock criticizes the lack of courage of the series creator Alex De Rakoff to differentiate himself from the Guy Ritchie model. Mark Perigard of the Boston Herald criticizes: "The series is overloaded with characterizations that are supposed to appear humorous, but instead are just plain stupid or insulting."
