Samia Chancrin
Samia Chancrin (* 1983 in Munich ) is a German-French actress and director .
Chancrin began her studies in 2004 at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and graduated in 2008 with a diploma. She worked as an actress on the stage, for example in Esslingen, Stuttgart and Berlin, as well as for television and cinema films. She realized her own directorial work from 2011 at the Esslingen Theater and from 2014 at the Neue Bühne Senftenberg. At the Munich Film Festival in 2007 she was nominated for the “German Film Award” in the “Best Female Actress” category. In the Fatih Akin film Out of Nowhere , she took on the role of Birgit. Samia Chancrin lives in Berlin.
